Overview
Mother Cow is the most evolved of the creations of God. She is our mother with large beautiful eyes, calm nature, and shining skin in various shades that runs from pristine white, off-white, light brown to dark grey.
Worshipping a cow is a virtuous act that we do like duty with pure emotions. Mother Cow also understands our emotions as Her sense of understanding is wonderful. Like our family members, she also seeks love, support, and care and keeping this in mind, Vishwa Jagriti Mission (VJM) has developed numerous ‘Gaushalas’ (Cowsheds) across the country over the years.
Further, the reason behind nurturing sacred cows is not merely dairy or dairy products but also because she deserves the care. We cannot leave her to survive in a pathetic situation. It is a matter of profound concern for us that many cows end up eating trash and die a miserable death due to the lack of proper care and nutrition.
Therefore, VJM ensures to support cows in all possible manners, adopting them, nurturing them their whole life, providing them with health checkups, and most importantly, treating them as a family member.
Our Gaushalas
We started with just 10 cows in the year 1996 in Delhi, and, presently we shelter and feed more than 500 cows & Bulls across India.
With the endless support of kind-hearted people from all over India, since its first cow-shed was established in Anand Dham Ashram, VJM was able to save an estimated 3000 cows from living a further miserable life. Vishwa Jagriti Mission has always motivated the idea of treating all creatures equally and has taken all possible steps to provide them with the facilities that they need.
We are presently serving in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Rajasthan.
